CALL FOR SPEAKERS

Symposium description

The DC Sustainability Summit is proudly presented by DCS Design, a DC-based architecture firm championing sustainable design in our community for over 50 years.

The DC Sustainability Summit is the DC Metro area’s premiere annual green building symposium. The conference consists of daily inspirational sessions and panel discussions led by thought leaders and experts in green building and sustainable design, as well as a product expo featuring emerging green building materials and technologies.

The conference works across industry silos to foster collaborative solutions and peer-to-peer learning. Our mission is to empower attendees with strategies, tools, and connections to green their businesses and their portfolios, and inspire sustainability in our region.

AUDIENCE PROFILE

In years past, the conference has drawn nearly 200 attendees. With additional strategic partners this year, we expect an audience of 300.

The conference is open to the public, but largely attended by:
Architects, Engineers, Designers
Contractors and Construction Managers
Developers, Building Owners & Real Estate Professionals
Local, State, and Federal Government Officials
Facility Managers, Operators and Green Workplace Leaders
Sustainability Professionals and Students

Note, in order to keep the conference registration cost low and accessible to all, we are not able to offer financial remuneration or expense reimbursement to the majority of speakers.
